wrangling with the DCCC

I just got a solicitation call from the DCCC. I let the guy give his (long) spiel but had to stop him when he tried to have the DCCC take credit for Paul Hackett.
I think the guy was really caught off guard when I corrected him, noting that it was the netroots that launched Paul Hackett into the electable zone, not the DCCC.
Then, while we were on the topic he got a piece of my mind about how the DCCC can pour money into a district representative candidate who was campainging for a hard-right Republican only two years ago, yet they couldn't be bothered to lift a finger for a woman candidate who ran for the same office last year and was a tried and true Democrat and a sucessful candidate in a lower office!
When the DCCC supports candidates who are proud to be Democrats, candidates who act like democrats, and candidates who are willing to fight for democratic values then, I told him, he should call me back.
I doubt he'll pass my "concerns" on to Rahm, but it felt good to let him know that I know the score - thanks to blogs like Kos.
